2016 PCS Young Artists Auditions

the PCS 2016 Young Artists Auditions were held on Jaunuary 9 and 10. The Adjudicator was Fred Bronstein, Dean of the Peabody Institute.

Dean Bronstein selected ten winners who will receive scholarships from the Benjamin and Anna Perlow Scholarship Fund of The Pittsburgh Foundation and will be featured in two concerts, March 6 and March 20, 2016.

The winners are, in alphabetical order:

Colin Aikins, tenor, Central Catholic High School, a student of Maria Spacagna

Rowan Belt, piano, homeschooled, a student of Natasha Snitkovsky

Rebecca Chen, piano, North Allegheny Senior High School, a student of Marina Lupinacci

Joseph Comella, violin, PA Leadership Charter School, a student of Cyrus Forough

Gracielle Constantine, piano, Ambridge Area School District, a student of Luz Manriquez

Chris Fedor, cello, North Allegheny Intermediate High School, a student of Katya Janpoladyan

Michal Hajlasz, piano, Sterrett Middle School, a student of Jeffry Harris

Emma Grace Kim, piano, Ross Elementary School, a student of Marina Lupinacci

Hannah Ishizaki, violin, PA Leadership Charter School, a student of Hong-Guang Jia
Kerry Broker, violin, Shady Side Academy Senior School, a student of Dennis O'Boyle

Kyle Johnson, cello, Peters Township High School, a student of David Premo
 

Rebecca Scimio, flute, Franklin Regional School District, a student of Dan Parasky
