The Pittsburgh Concert Society's Major Auditions were held on April 20 and 21, 2006. The adjudicator was Dr. Robert Sirota, President, Manhattan School of Music. The winners of the auditions are, in alphabetical order:

Adam Liu, cello
Barbara O'Brien and Yeeha Chiu, flute-piano duo
Rachel Smoliar, violin
Ryan Spacht, trumpet
Each winner receives $1000 Benswanger award and will be presented in one of our three fall concerts. Details about these concerts will be available on this page as soon as schedules become final.
