Colin Aikins, tenor, winner of the PCS 2016 Young Artists auditions, competed in the CSV Competition in Boston. He was a Semi-Finalist (Top Ten) and received 2 Scholarship offers from Eastman School of Music and DePauw University. He was the only sophomore to receive scholarship awards.

Colin Aikin was also accepted into the Young Artist Voice Program part of Curtis Summerfest June 19 – July 2.
This intensive program is designed for singers aged 18 and older who are currently studying vocal performance at the college or graduate level; or who are.considering focused studies in classical voice. Singers have the unique opportunity to:
- study privately with renowned Curtis Institute of Music vocal studies department faculty;
- benefit from master classes;
- gain valuable insights through vocal coaching sessions; and
- learn from professionals working in the opera field.
Participants live, share meals, and practice in Curtis’s historic main building and the beautiful Lenfest Hall.
