The PCS Young Organists Auditions were held on Saturday, March 20 at the Mt. Lebanon United Lutheran Church. The adjudicator was Dr. Christine Clewell, assistant professor of organ and keyboard instruments at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
There were six candidates representing three of the area's educational institutions. The winner is Priscilla Weaver, a student of Dr. Richard Konzen at Grove City College. She will be presented in concert on Monday, April 25 at 7:30 PM at St. Paul Cathedral, Fifth Avenue, Oakland as part of the Pittsburgh Chapter, American Guild of Organists monthly meeting. The public is invited.
