Pittsburgh Concert Society 2026 Young Artists Auditions Winners

The PCS 2026 Young Artists auditions were held on Sunday, March 8. The adjudicator was Hank Mou, Dean and Chief Artistic Officer, New England Conservatory.
Mr. Mou selected the following winners who will each receive a scholarship and will be featured on concerts March 29 or April 12:

Xudong  Zhou,  piano, a student of Luz Manriquez, attends the Winchester Thurston School.

Jocelyn Hsu and Emily Nickl, harp and flute duo, coached by Gretchen van Hoesen

Shuma Hoppo and Karin Hoppo, violin duo, coached by Dylan Naroff, attend North Allegheny Schools.

Brady Conley, viola, a student of Sean Juhl, attends Woodland Hills High School.

Nazmee Kamal, mezzo-soprano, a student of Daniel Teadt

The Red Spruce Quartet coached by Jeremy Black
Karin Hoppo
and Shuma Hoppo, violins

 Albert Dong, cello, a student of Adam Liu, attends Sewickley Academy.

Zachary Wang, cello, a student of Adam Liu, attends Carson Middle School

Lace Hilboky, harp, a student of Gretchen van Hoesen, attends Duquesne University.
