Raymond Very, tenor, (PCS Major winner 1993, Alumni Concert performer 2007), is singing the role of Vladimir Lensky in the Pittsburgh Opera production of Eugene Onegin. The performances are September 26, 29, October 2 and 4. Of this performance, Andrew Druckenbrod writes in the September 28 issue of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: "Singing with remarkable clarity and precision, the Brookline native was able to transform the character from a naive boy to a regretful man as he approaches a duel with Onegin that neither of the former friends wants."

Mr. Very has performed with major opera companies around the world but still resides in Pittsburgh.
