Special joint PCS and Frick Art and Historic Center Concert
Music for Exhibitions 2008
The Frick Art & Historical Center joins in the city-wide celebration of Pittsburgh’s 250th birthday in 2008 with a year of art and music programs that reflects Pittsburgh’s history and character. Three uncommon exhibitions inspire three distinct musical genres in the Frick’s 2008 Music for Exhibition series. For this very special series of performances commemorating Pittsburgh’s 250th birthday, the Frick is collaborating with three of Pittsburgh’s premier musical institutions—Opera Theater of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Concert Society (Bridge City Winds) and Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild.
