The Well-Tempered Trio was formed in July of 2016. Initiated and coached by Marina Lupinacci, the Trio has performed in recitals and also on the Saturday Light Brigade radio program. The three performers live north and east of Pittsburgh, and travel many miles to rehearse together.
Pianist, Cameron Schepner, studies with Ms. Lupinacci and is a senior at Hampton High School. Cameron began his piano studies at age 6 and has participated in many competitions throughout his career. He is a part of the Hampton Marching Band and Honors Wind Ensemble. Cameron plans to continue studying music through a minor at Vanderbilt while majoring in either aerospace or chemical engineering.
Violinist Joseph Comella, a student of Cyrus Forough, began playing the violin at the age of two. He is a senior at the Pennsylvania Leadership Charter School. Joseph performs and competes both in ensembles and as a soloist. He is currently auditioning for music schools where he plans to study violin performance.
Chris Fedor, cellist, studies with Katya Janpoladyan and is a junior at North Allegheny High School. Chris began his cello studies with Ms. Janpoladyan in the fall of 2011. Before he began playing the cello, Chris started studying the piano with Ms. Lupinacci at age five. Currently, Chris is a principal cellist with the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra. In college, Chris plans to study in a science or technology field while continuing his musical endeavors in cello performance.
