Daniela Shtereva

Violin

Daniela Shtereva holds a B.A. degree in Violin Performance from the National Conservatory of Music in Sofia, Bulgaria, and a M.M. degree in Violin Performance from Louisiana State University where she studied with Professor Kevork Mardirossian. She has made a number of appearances as a solist with orchestras throughout Europe and in the United States, and has five compact discs released on Music Minus One. Miss Shtereva is a prizewinner of several competitions, including the Fifth "Andrea Postaccini" International Competition for violinists in Italy, and the Music Teachers National Association Competition.  In 2001-2003, Miss Shtereva was Assistant and Associate Comcertmaster in the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra. Currently, Miss Shtereva is working on her Artist Diploma certificate at Carnegie Mellon with Professor Cyrus Forough, and is a member of the Starling Quartet. Recently she won the Concerto Competition at Carnegie Mellon.
