Elizabeth Edwards was born in Canterbury, England and moved with her family to the Pittsburgh area in 2003. She started formal lessons on the cello at the age of five with Gregory Bouyanover, a former student of the Moscow Conservatory. Elizabeth is the Zagreb Note Award and Third Place winner at the 10th International Antonio Janigro Cello Competition in Croatia, where she played in masterclasses with Professor Wendy Warner. She has been broadcast on WQED-FM and played at the Three Rivers Arts Festival as a winner of the 2014 WQED-FM "Musical Kids" Classical Music Awards.
