Ellen Dooley

Flute

Ellen Dooley has just completed her master's degree in flute at Carnegie Mellon University, where she was a student of Jeanne Baxtresser. Prior to coming to Pittsburgh, Ms. Dooley was an active solo and chamber music performer and teacher in Washington, D.C. She has concertized at the Brazilian, French, German and Russian Embassies, The Terrace Theater at the Kennedy Center, The Lyceum in Old Town Alexandria and for the Governor of Maryland in Annapolis. In addition she has performed with The Frederick Symphony, The New Horizons New Music Ensemble, The National Chamber Orchestra and The Opera Theater of Pittsburgh. Last summer, Ms. Dooley performed with members of The Moscow Soloists Chamber Orchestra in Moscow, Russia.
