Henry Knudsen, seventeen years old, is a junior at Morgantown High School, in West Virginia. Henry has previously studied piano with Konstantinos Valianatos for a few years. He now has been taking lessons under Dr. Marina Lupinacci for about a year and a half. Henry is part of the Steinway Society in Pittsburgh(SSWPA), and has been selected to perform at Heinz Hall in June. He plans on going to college for piano in fall 2023. Other than playing the piano, Henry enjoys working on math and chemistry at school. He also loves studying music theory, and is in a theory class at school. Henry likes to listen to classical music in his free time: symphonies, piano, string quartets, etc. Among his favorite composers are Beethoven, Mahler and Scriabin.
