Hsing-Yi Tsai, a native of Taiwan, is currently in the second year of her DMA program, serving as a graduate teaching assistant and studying piano with Dr. Peter Amstutz, and studies chamber music with Dr. Lucy Mauro. She studied with Dr. Wesley Roberts at Campbellsville University for her Master’s degree and Artist Diploma. In 2018, Hsing-Yi represented West Virginia in the nine-state MTNA Eastern Division Competition and was named the Alternate Winner. A week later, she was also chosen as a winner in WVU’s Young Artist Concerto Competition.
