Joshua Lee performed his first public recital at the age of 14. He completed his 10th grade at the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan with a full scholarship. He performed at the Lincoln Center with the Interlochen Academy Orchestra as a course of its Biennial festival program in June of 2016.
He has performed as a soloist with the Symphony on The Bay, the London Community Orchestra, and the London Youth Symphony. Joshua has won both the 2018 and 2019 Rose Bowl Competitions in London, Ontario as the youngest winner. He has also won the senior category winner for the Symphony On The Bay Young Artists Concerto Competition, and many awards from the Canadian Music Competition held in Gatineau, Quebec, the OMFA Provincial Finals, the Burlington Festival, and The International Kiwanis Festival. In 2023, he won 1st prize in the Keynotes Music Scholarship Competition. He is currently studying under Professor van der Sloot at Carnegie Mellon University.
