Hailed as “A musician above all…” (New York Times) and “…one of her country’s leading soloists” (The Times, London), Kathleen Bride has appeared as recitalist and concerto soloist in the United States, England, Ireland, Europe, and Korea. She has been an international guest recitalist at numerous festivals in England, Holland, and the United States. As a chamber musician, Kathleen Bride has toured the U.S. as duo-recitalist with organ and flute colleagues. She has recently been concerto soloist with the Erie Chamber Orchestra, and duo-harp recitalist with Courtney Hershey Bress, Principal Harp, Colorado Symphony Orchestra.
Kathleen Bride is Professor of Harp at the Eastman School of Music where she teaches a class of U.S. and international harpists. She has been guest professor at the Royal Northern College of Music and The Chetham’s School, Manchester, England, and has taught numerous master classes throughout the U.S., England, Wales, Ireland, and Korea.
