Klara Pinkerton has been playing the cello and piano since she was three years old, and currently studies the cello with Mikhail Istomin. She has been a member of the Akron Youth Philharmonic, is currently in the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony, and has played in numerous chamber ensembles. Being a member of the Southminster Ringers and the Southminster Sinfonia fills a great deal of her spare time. Klara is homeschooled and in the tenth grade. Her non-musical interests include volunteering in the Physical Therapy Department at Asbury Heights, reading, swimming, shopping and spending time with her cat, Snowball.
