Leah Edmondson Dyer

Soprano

Soprano Leah Edmondson Dyer made her Carnegie Hall debut as a soloist with the New York Pops, and is currently a Young Artist with Pittsburgh Opera Theatre.

Leah was a Resident Artist at Pine Mountain Music Festival in Michigan in 2010. Her operatic roles include Euridice (Orfeo ed Euridice), Pamina (The Magic Flute), Calisto (La Calisto), and Annina (La traviata). Her oratorio work includes the requiems of Brahms, Fauré, and Mozart, Haydn's Paukenmesse, the Dvořák Stabat Mater, and the Bach Magnificat.

Leah was named a Pittsburgh Concert Society Major Auditions Winner and selected to perform in the 2011–2012 season.

Leah has sung in master classes and lectures with well-known artists such as Thomas Hampson, Jessica Rivera, and Renée Fleming. She received her Bachelor degree at Texas Christian University and Master of Music at Ohio State University, and is currently pursuing an Artist Diploma at Carnegie Mellon University, where she studies with Douglas Ahlstedt.
