Marcus Zhan is a sophomore at Sewickley Academy. Marcus started piano at the age of five. He currently studies with Professor Sha Wang from Geneva College. He has won numerous awards at several competitions including the Minnesota Music Teachers Association, the Steinway Society Young Artists, Pittsburgh International Piano Competition, and the Streator-Smith Music Competition. Marcus also played first trombone for four years in the school band. Besides music, Marcus is also a competitive swimmer. He currently is an open water Junior National Qualifier.
