Misung Lee, a full scholarship student at Duquesne University, received her training at Ye-Won Arts School, Seoul Arts High School, ans Seoul National University.
She won the Yuk-Young Competition one year after she started playing the oboe. She was also a winner of the Pusan Music Competition, the Seoul National University Competition, the Woohyun Music Competition, and the Concerto Competition at Duquesne University. She was also a finalist in the Prague Spring International Competitiona and the International Oboe Competition of Tokyo, Japan. Ms. Lee has performed at the Sarasota Music Festival.
Currently, Ms. Lee studies with James Gorton in the artist diploma program at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
