Nicholas Todorov began playing the tuba at the beginning of his fifth grade year and has loved the instrument ever since. He began taking lessons during his seventh-grade year with Dr. David Porter and continued studying tuba when he moved to Mason, Ohio under the instruction of Dr. Preston Light. He then performed with the Boston University Tanglewood Institute as Principal Tuba of the Young Artists Orchestra for the 2022 summer season. Nicholas is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree is Music Performance at Duquesne University under the instruction of Dr. James Gourlay. He enjoys performing with the Duquesne University Tuba Ensemble and Wind Bands.
