Pei-Sien Lim

Piano

Pei-Sien Lim, piano, a native of Kelantan, Malaysia, is pursuing her doctorate at West Virginia University. She received both her bachelor's degree and master's degree in piano performance from WVU as well. Ms. Lim was named Outstanding Graduate of 1998 in the Division of Music of the College of Creative Arts.

Ms. Lim has twice won the WVU Young Artists Competition. She has served as a staff accompanist for the last two summers at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria.

In February of 2002, WVU Wind Symphony gave a concert performance at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., and Ms. Lim was given the opportunity to perform the piano solo of Olivier Messiaen's Oiseaux Exotiques with the orchestra. Ms. Lim is a student of Dr. James E. Miltenberger.
