Rebecca Dawn Ball

Rebecca Dawn Ball, a graduate student at Indiana University in Bloomington, is from Saltsburg, Pennsylvania. She attended Seton Hill College and graduated from Saint Vincent College with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. Ms. Ball has been a chorister and soloist for choral ensembles such as the Saint Vincent Camerata, the Pittsburgh Camerata, the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh and the Trinity Cathedral Choir. In December of 1999, she was a featured soloist with the Chatham Baroque Ensemble. Since arriving in Bloomington, Ms. Ball has sung in IU opera productions. She has also been a featured soloist in a performance of J.S. Bach Cantata #76 Die Himmel Erzahlen Die Ehre Gottes. Ms. Ball has participated in master classes under internationally known opera coaches/conductors. Recently, she was accepted into the vocal concert studies program at the Aspen Music School and Festival. Ms. Ball has studied voice in the studios of Dr. Curt Scheib, Dr. Carol Ann Allred, and Richard Kennedy. She is presently studying under Mary Ann Hart at Indiana University in pursuit of a Master of Music in Voice Performance degree.
