Rebecca Lee, a sophomore at North Allegheny Intermediate High School, is fifteen years old and has been playing piano for ten years. She has been a semifinalist in the Cincinnati World Piano Competition, and is very grateful to the Pittsburgh Concert Society for giving her this opportunity. She would like to sincerely thank her parents and piano teacher, Anne Lin, for inspiring and introducing her to piano and the music she loves. Rebecca has also been playing violin since she was eight and is in her high school chamber orchestra, as well as the Three Rivers Young Peoples Orchestra, and plays her instruments at nursing homes after school. Rebecca enjoys reading books and listening to music, as well as watching movies, hanging out with her friends, writing, and traveling with her family.
