Rebekah Rest is a 7th grade student at Marshall Middle School in Wexford. She has been studying piano with Natasha Snitkovsky at City Music Center of Duquesne University since the age of six.
Rebekah was a winner of the Steinway Society’s Young Artist Program and played at a pre-concert recital in the Heinz Hall lobby. In 2014, she was one of WQED’s Musical Kids winners and was featured on WQED Classical FM radio. She performed for the Arts Education Partnership National Forum and the Three Rivers Arts Festival.
Rebekah has also played cello for the last five years and is a member of her school orchestra. She frequently plays piano and cello at churches, hospitals, and nursing homes. Besides music, Rebekah also enjoys playing tennis and painting.
