Ryan Spacht has joined the ranks of Pittsburgh’s young musical talent and has performed extensively throughout the region. He has performed as a featured soloist with the River City Brass Band, and continues to perform regularly with the group. Career highlights also include engagements with the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra, the Roger Humphries Big Band, and a performance for Her Royal Highness of Qatar. In addition, Mr. Spacht was named an alternate finalist in the 2006 International Trumpet Guild Orchestra Excerpts Competition. Mr. Spacht has studied trumpet privately with Robert Dolwick, Anthony Pasquarelli, George Vosburgh, and Dr. John Wilson. Mr. Spacht holds a B.A. in trumpet performance from Carnegie Mellon University and is currently a graduate student of Neal Berntsen and Sean Jones at the Mary Pappert School of Music, Duquesne University.
