Tze-shan Chang was born in Taipei, Taiwan. She started her music education at the age of seven, and gave her first public performance at the age of eight. She has since had numerous public appearances in solo and chamber music. Miss Chang is also an accomplished clarinetist and has played with orchestras in Taiwan, Austria, and the United States. She received her Bachelor of Art Degree in Music at the Chinese Culture University, Taipei, Taiwan.
Currently Miss Chang studies with Professor Hanna Li in Pittsburgh. She graduated from Carnegie Mellon University School of Music with a master degree in Piano Performance and a certificate in Piano Pedagogy.
