Annie Grace Wang is 11 years old and a seventh grade student at Aquinas Academy of Pittsburgh.
Annie started piano education with Mrs. Karla Isenberg when she was 4 years old. She has studied with Dr. Marina Lupinacci since the age of 6. Annie has been a member of Steinway Society of Western Pennsylvania and played at Heinz Hall Young Artist Recitals and Young Artist Honors Recitals since 2013. Annie won third prize in her age category at the First New York International Competition for Young Artists and first prize at the Great Composers Competition in 2016. She performed at the Soloist Awards Recital of the 2017 Duquesne Young Artists National Competition.
Besides piano, Annie studies violin with Mr. David Gillis. Annie loves math. She was a winner at the regional Math Olympics held by the Association of Christian Schools International in 2014 and 2015. She competed at the Pittsburgh Chapter Mathcounts as a team member of Aquinas Academy in 2018. Annie also won the first prize at Spelling Bee Competition of Eden Christian Academy in 2016.
