Emma Kim is 11 years old and attends Ross Elementary School where she is currently in the 6th grade.  She began playing piano at the age of 4 and has been studying with Dr. Marina Lupinacci for the past 3 years. In 2014, she and duet partner Monica Chen placed first in the Pittsburgh Piano Teachers Association piano duet competition in the Elementary category. Emma has been a member of the Steinway Young Artists program for the past 2 years, playing in the Heinz Hall lobby in 2015. Aside from music, Emma enjoys playing softball and tennis, reading and writing, and spending time with her family and friends.
