Rebecca Scimio has been studying flute with Dan Parasky for 7 years. She is 17 years old and a junior at Franklin Regional High School. She has won the Central Ohio Flute Association soloist competition, the International Flute Symposium High School soloist competition, PMEA All-State Orchestra, and the National Flute Association High School Flute Choir. She is a member of the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra.
